Tracking Fukushima’s Nuclear Weapons Sites

Not mere nuclear waste sites, rather, ‘wasted’ nuclear sites…

Is an Extinction-level Event Still in Progress?

In March 2011, the most severe environmental catastrophe in World History began in Northern Japan following an earthquake and tsunami. The Japanese-American science writer Yoichi Shimatsu was living and working in Japan at the time, and was forced to leave his mountainside ‘dream home’ forever, owing to the intense levels of radiation being spewed into the atmosphere locally. He subsequently became the first journalist to enter the government-mandated “exclusion zone” around the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant complex, bringing a video camera with him. He uploaded to the world his minimalistic first video in ___, 201?.

After the first video was released, Yoichi was contacted by informed sources who were eager to share additional information about the suppressed truth of what actually happened at Fukushima, and elsewhere in Japan, beginning in March 2011. He was alerted to locations of special interest in Northern Japan by persons from within the Japanese government, and from within the scientific, medical and military establishments.

Acting upon the new information, he released a 20-minute follow-up video in 2018, Tracking Fukushima’s Nuclear Weapons Sites. It documents his making in-person visits to nine locations in Northern Japan which had secretly been housing subterranean nuclear weapons laboratories, some of which had been destroyed on 3-11-11, and had been the actual main contributors to the World’s worst-ever radiation release.

Unfortunately, that process is still ongoing. Yoichi has named this:

The most pervasive cover-up in scientific history.

Thus Yoichi has revealed the existence of a secret Japanese nuclear weapons program, something strictly forbidden by the new constitution imposed on Japan in 1945 by the occupying victor of WWII, the United States. This unique video travelogue was produced by the Jeff Rense company and appears on Youtube under his logo.

For the 2018 video, Yoichi was accompanied by an expert videographer, Phillipe Castillo, to nine locations which his informants had alerted him to. Often he takes an on-site radiation reading from a handheld digital radiation meter (“dosimeter”) and turns around the LCD display to show viewers the numerical value appearing.

Yoichi’s shocking expose´ reveals that the scope of the radiation release was vastly greater than previously reported: Fukushima was only one of four sites with radiation releases from destroyed secret, underground, nuclear weapons laboratories.

Yet worse, the radiation was not only from the fissionable material typical of nuclear power plants, but additionally, from weapons-grade plutonium. To this day, there may be hundreds of plutonium warheads still belching deadly radiation into Earth’s ocean and atmosphere from Northern Japan.

Therefore the 3/11/2011 event may have actually been the beginning of an Extinction Level Event, making Yoichi’s video (arguably) the most significant among all the billions of videos ever recorded to date.

Two Momentous But Disjoint Documents Are Merged Here

The 2018 video has a nearly-unkown companion document that is, factually, even more devastating than the video: it consists of one austere, static html page hosted on rense.com under the chilling title, “warheads.html”:

Warhead Lab Leaks Killed Thousands In The Fukushima Disaster (external link)

But the video and web page reside on different domains, and don’t hyperlink to each other. Therefore the number of people, worldwide, who have ever been exposed to the totality this magisterial work is microscopically small, certainly considering the grim gravity of the worldwide implications.

Therefore, the purpose of these few pages is to provide a highly visible, holistic, standalone presentation of the merged information from both the video and Web page, visually combined. A main point is to offer a bounty of images and maps.

It is our fervent wish that Yoichi will be interested in updating the text below, now that seven years have passed.

The additional hope is that he will be interested in producing a parallel Japanese-language version.

I have written up a formal proposal for his consideration.
